As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a retail location. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and respond to situations as needed. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a visible presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the business and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for security-related concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or customers, assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Complete incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client policies by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must possess Level III Armed Certification if located in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
