Armed Security Officer Financial Institution - Mornings Job in San Antonio, Texas

As a Armed Security Officer Financial Institution in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns with professionalism while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
- Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a Level III armed certification in Texas.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience preferred.
- Possess a guard card or license preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
