What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and/or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and other unwanted activities.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and monitor for suspicious activity, reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities or management as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.
• Carry and responsibly handle an assigned firearm in accordance with company policies and local regulations, maintaining readiness to respond to security-related incidents if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
