You will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor identification, authorization, and entry documentation in accordance with financial institution policies.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and direct guests to appropriate areas while protecting confidential information.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
