Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post offers the chance to support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while staying agile, reliable, and innovative throughout your shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, sales floors, and/or high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, and communicate with local leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
- Support access control, loss prevention awareness, and/or de-escalation efforts while maintaining a professional presence in a customer-facing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
