As a Armed Security Officer - Retail Site in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Security Professional, where you'll monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to foster a secure environment for patrons and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. As this is an armed post, you will be responsible for carrying out your duties with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the retail location, providing customer service as a representative of Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, acting in accordance with company procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the business, including the perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the retail environment to help maintain order and support a positive customer experience.
• Document observations and/or incidents according to established protocols, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Collaborate with store staff and/or management to address security-related concerns, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, following all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Level III Armed Certification is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
