As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will engage with customers and staff, delivering exceptional service while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
• Assist customers, visitors, and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
