Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Defense

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver - Defense in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain an armed presence as required by site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activities according to company and client guidelines.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as directed to support site security-related objectives.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
