Cleared Security Officer Front Desk - Clearance Required Job in San Antonio, Texas

As a Cleared Security Officer Front Desk - Clearance Required in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide professional communication and customer service. You will help support a secure environment through attention to detail and timely reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Manage front-desk access control by verifying credentials, processing visitor registrations, issuing and collecting visitor badges, and maintaining required entry records.
- Monitor incoming communications, receive deliveries as directed, and promptly report unusual activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols.
- Support a professional reception environment at an aerospace and defense location by directing visitors, protecting sensitive information, and maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
