Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time

As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time in San Antonio, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or store leadership when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or restricted spaces to help support loss prevention efforts, access control, and overall site operations.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and authorized site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas only.
- CPR Certification preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
