As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment at a bustling retail location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide visible security-related support.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns, and report findings to the appropriate parties.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials as needed and interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Work collaboratively with store staff and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that require an armed security-related presence, following all policies and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification if located in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
