Security Officer - Access Screening

As a Security Officer - Access Screening in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location where you will monitor access points, verify badges and visitor credentials, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through professional customer service, clear communication, and routine observations, while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and our commitment to teamwork and integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
- Verify credentials, manage visitor entry and exit activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Prepare clear reports of daily activities, access-related events, and incident details, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
