Security Officer Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Retail Sector in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining high visibility. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Carry out security-related duties while armed, following all applicable regulations and company policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III armed certification for positions in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
