As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling retail locations to help create a secure environment for staff and visitors. This dynamic position requires you to conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact with the public, providing excellent customer service. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to meet the necessary licensing and driving standards. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to inquiries or concerns from customers and staff in a retail environment.
• Carry out regular and random patrols within the store and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere for customers and employees.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Observe for potential security-related issues, suspicious activity, or policy violations and report findings according to established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, or other disruptions within the retail location.
• Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a welcoming environment.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate daily activity reports as required by site procedures.
• Operate as an armed security professional in accordance with site policies, maintaining proficiency with assigned equipment and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
