Security Officer Full Time Gate Access Overnights Job in San Antonio, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Gate Access Overnights in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, controlled environment by managing visitor access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents and guests. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with property procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and emergency responders while documenting security-related activities and incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
