Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe any irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote security-related compliance.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist with crowd management and directional guidance for visitors as needed, supporting the orderly flow of people through the location.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members, site staff, and local authorities as required to address security-related concerns and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
