As a Security Officer - Patrol Incident Response in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and maintain professional communication with airport operations personnel and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
