As a Security Professional- Armed Retail Center Site - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving position, requiring a focus on both professionalism and readiness. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity, suspicious behavior, or potential hazards and promptly report findings according to site protocols.
• Maintain visibility and interact with employees, customers, and visitors to provide assistance and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Carry out security-related tasks as directed by Allied Universal and site supervision, adapting to the varying working environments and conditions specific to the retail location.
• Maintain proper handling and control of assigned firearms in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
