As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment within a busy retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This position requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy, making both your professionalism and attention to detail essential. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behaviors.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and offer assistance to customers and staff as needed.
• Document incidents and activities according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
• Follow all company protocols and procedures as an armed security professional representing Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must hold a valid Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
