Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Power Washer. The Power Washer, or pressure washing technician, is responsible for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces using high-powered pressure washing equipment, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

PAY $18.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• OperatePressureWashingEquipment:Usehigh-pressurewaterspraystocleansurfacessuchasbuildings,sidewalks,vehicles,andoutdoorfurniture.
• SurfacePreparation:Inspectsurfacesforpotentialhazardsordamagebeforebeginningworkandprepareareasforcleaningbyremovingdebrisandobstacles.
• SelectCleaningSolutions:Chooseappropriatecleaningagentsbasedonthesurfacetypeandlevelofdirtorstainstoensureeffectivecleaningwithoutdamage.
• PerformRoutineMaintenance:Conductminorrepairsandmaintenanceonpressurewashingequipmenttoensureoptimalperformanceandsafety.
• CustomerInteraction:Communicatewithclientstounderstandtheirrequirements,providejobestimates,andensuresatisfactionuponjobcompletion.
• AdheretoSafetyProtocols:Followallsafetyproceduresanduseprotectivegeartominimizerisksassociatedwithhigh-pressureequipmentandcleaningagents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• No prior work history required
• Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Excellent written, oral, and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and train others
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer skills to be able to access timecards, training, and employment information
• Ability to multi-task

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior power wash work experience
• Prior experience as a floor technician
• Experience in cleaning and restoring floor coverings such as carpet, tile, vinyl
• Valid driver’s license
