As a Front Desk Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, verify credentials, and coordinate security-related communications with site contacts. You will monitor activity at the entry point, document incidents and/or requests, and deliver a professional customer service experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.
• Staff a front desk post to greet and direct visitors, employees, vendors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
• Manage visitor processing, including check-in and check-out, identification review, badge issuance and return, and logging of entries and exits per site procedures.
• Verify access authorization for facility entry and notify designated contacts for approvals and/or escort requirements.
• Monitor alarms, access control activity, and communications channels from the front desk, and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Control keys, credentials, and delivery receipts assigned to the post in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Screen and route deliveries and service requests, including coordinating drop-offs and pickups with internal points of contact.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes with clear and accurate details.
• Support emergency procedures from the front desk, including initiating notifications, providing directions to responders, and assisting with accountability processes as directed.
• Maintain a neat and professional reception area while following client policies for prohibited items, photography restrictions, and information handling.
• Communicate with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives regarding post operations, equipment issues, and/or procedural questions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
