Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will help support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to respond throughout the community while delivering outstanding customer service. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will help address security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and/or resident activity, and communicate with property personnel regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance-related issues that may impact the location.
- Assist with reviewing alarms, checking doors and gates, and supporting after-hours coverage while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
