Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Foot Patrol Job in San Diego, California

As a Security Officer Full Time Foot Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience. You will communicate professionally with guests and staff, respond to concerns, and contribute to a caring culture through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and attentive service with Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, guest corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate hotel personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
- Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, maintaining professional communication with hotel staff, guests, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
