Security Officer Access Patrol Monitor

As a Security Officer Access Patrol Monitor in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support a caring, agile team culture built on reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support an orderly environment for employees, guests, and/or vendors.
- Report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel and follow post orders for escalation and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid are preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
