As a Security Officer - CRE Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate environment, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure atmosphere for tenants, visitors, and property staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will use your keen observation and communication skills to assist in access control, respond to alarms, and support emergency procedures as needed. Pay Rate: $23.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for any unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and control entry to the premises, verifying credentials as needed.
• Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal colleagues and site personnel to support security-related operations and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
