Security Officer Day Patrol

As a Security Officer Day Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a people-first approach. In a role built on teamwork, integrity, and reliability, you will make a meaningful impact each shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verify access permissions when required, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or answering general questions.
- Support order at the location by following post orders, communicating with supervisors and/or local agencies as needed, and preparing clear, accurate incident and activity reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
