Security Officer Lobby Attendant

As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor management, and other security-related responsibilities while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with property protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with building management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document daily activity, incidents, and unusual observations in required reports.
- Support lobby and reception operations at a commercial real estate location by observing entry activity and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations to help to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
