As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Assessment in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine rounds, observation, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly professional environment by providing directions, addressing routine questions, and reporting policy violations or suspicious activity to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
