Security Officer Patrol Role

As a Security Officer Patrol Role in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location where your patrol presence helps support a secure environment. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or badge procedures in support of site protocols at a fast-paced technology-focused location.
- Support emergency and business continuity procedures by assisting with evacuations, access control changes, and/or other security-related duties as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
