What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific policies, monitoring visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures for a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue access badges or visitor passes, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
- Answer phones, greet employees, visitors, and vendors, and provide clear directions and information while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, visitor arrivals, incidents, and/or irregularities in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
