As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Driver Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including production-adjacent areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and suspicious activity through observation, presence, and documented security-related reporting.
- Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
