What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting employees, visitors, and vendors, and addressing security-related concerns in a professional manner.
- Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, verify credentials, and help to control access to the location in line with established protocols.
- Answer phones, direct guests, receive and document deliveries, and support front desk operations for a fast-paced technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed logs, reports, and front desk records related to security-related events, visitor activity, and/or access control issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
