Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the chance to stay active, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
- Support daily operations by maintaining visible presence, completing required reports, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with post orders and location expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
