Security Officer Unarmed Zone Patrol

In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while contributing to a professional and welcoming environment.

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Support day-to-day operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and/or questions, and following post orders for assigned patrol areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
