As a Security Professional - Transportation Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to passengers and staff within the transportation environment.
• Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols or while on duty.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and passengers, offering assistance or guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment and support security-related initiatives at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Experience working at locations with limited on site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
