As a Security Guard - Senior Living Facility in San Marcos, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, primarily by driving, to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as directed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific rules, regulations, and policies as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
