Security Officer - Lobby Professional

As a Security Officer Lobby Concierge in San Mateo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and helping to address security-related concerns with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a technology-focused location.
- Monitor lobby activity, manage visitor check-in and check-out processes, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, appointments, access requests, and/or other front desk needs.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
- Complete required logs, reports, and documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, and daily front desk operations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
