Security Guard Experienced Full Time Multiple Shifts Job in Sandston, Virginia

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certified in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support badge and credential verification procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- A guard card or applicable license is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
