Security Officer Patrol Operations Job in Santa Ana, California

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and staff with professionalism, and communicate observations clearly. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout museum or collection areas, public spaces, staff areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment during exhibitions, events, deliveries, and other location activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
