Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential apartment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and maintenance-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support community rules, property expectations, and authorized entry procedures.
- Assist with routine checks of doors, gates, lighting, and shared amenities to help identify hazards, damage, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
