As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate responses to security-related incidents, monitor communications and systems, document activity, and provide outstanding service to tenants, visitors, and team members. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor communications systems, receive and document calls for service, dispatch personnel as needed, and maintain accurate incident, activity, and access-related logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Monitor building systems, cameras, and access control activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
