Security Officer Reception Services Job in Santa Clara, California

As a Security Officer Reception Services in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome patients, visitors, and staff while providing professional customer service and clear communication. You will monitor access, respond to security-related concerns, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access protocols at a healthcare location.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
- Monitor entry activity, receive and route calls, and communicate visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service requests to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
- Assist with maintaining a professional, welcoming front-desk environment while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
