Security Officer Lobby Reception Specialist

As a Security Officer Lobby Reception Specialist in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help create a positive experience while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor access to the property lobby and/or reception area, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and reporting.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting building management or emergency services when appropriate.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining visitor logs, documenting daily activity, answering phones, and communicating relevant information to building staff and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Assist with emergency response activities, alarm notifications, and evacuation-related directions in accordance with site procedures and post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
