Security Officer - Broadcast Roving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Broadcast Roving Patrol in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and critical areas for signs of irregular conditions and report concerns per established procedures.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and other building systems as assigned, and document and/or escalate alerts based on site guidelines.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs using written and/or electronic systems.
• Support security-related screening and delivery procedures, including coordinating with shipping and receiving areas when assigned.
• Provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining professional presence at the location.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and local responders as required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
