Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Reporting Job in Savannah, Georgia

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Reporting in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while collaborating with teammates. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the distribution facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, incidents, and other required information.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and property damage through a visible presence and timely reporting of concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
