Security Officer - Hospital Site - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Hospital Site - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that values teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could require attention.
- Support access control activities by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access when required, and helping to direct visitors and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
- Observe and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could impact operations, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
