Security Officer - Overnight Concierge Job in Scottsdale, Arizona

As a Security Officer - Overnight Concierge in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, and supporting security-related operations. You will communicate professionally with tenants, guests, and staff, respond to concerns, and maintain accurate records using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while delivering customer service in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
- Monitor visitor access, greet tenants and guests, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, receive deliveries, and communicate relevant information to building management, tenants, and/or authorized personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor lobby activity and access points, report unusual conditions or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
