Security Officer - Armed Aero/Defense Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Aero/Defense Patrol in Seal Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated aerospace and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. This driving and armed post allows you to remain visible, interact with personnel, and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying a firearm as required for the post.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with attention to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of all persons and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and observations.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Remain alert to potential security-related concerns specific to an aerospace and defense environment, and respond according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
