As a Security Officer Access Control Patrols in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a crucial role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout your assigned area to help prevent unauthorized access. You will also engage with employees and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication in every interaction. Pay Rate: $22.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures, following established protocols and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during critical situations to help maintain order and support emergency response activities.
• Remain alert and attentive to the environment to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
