Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol Job in Seattle, Washington

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist passengers, employees, and visitors with professionalism and care. You will report security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or designated transit personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or security-related license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
